Dhaka, Bangladesh:
A meeting was held with the coordinators of the Nationalist Democratic Movement (NDM) in Dhaka city on Sunday evening, November 17, at the central office of the Dhaka Metropolitan.
The meeting was attended by NDM's Central Office Secretary, Javedur Rahman Jony, Dhaka city coordinators Asif Iqbal Ahmed, Nurullah, Prince Chowdhury, Mohammad Abu Sayeed Chowdhury, Jamshad Alam, Delwar Hossain, Noman Chowdhury, Shammi Afrin, Advocate Sharif, Syed Moinuddin Ripon and Rakib Hasan Azad.
Asif Iqbal Ahmed, in his speech, stated, "We are working in the midst of a fragile political situation with the public's interests in mind. We hope that, together, we will be able to reach our goals more effectively. I believe we will succeed by participating actively, and I trust the people will stand by us. We also hope that the current interim government will conduct elections in a timely manner for the welfare of the people."
The meeting also discussed the formulation of possible policies for the new committee and emphasized evaluating capable individuals for leading the party with commitment and dedication. -
