Gem specialists have expanded the cost of gold by Tk 4,502, raising it to Tk 1,15,450 for each bhori in the Bangladeshi market. The choice was made by the standing panel on estimating and value observing of the Bangladesh Gem dealers' Affiliation (BAJUS) during a gathering hung on Tuesday. A public statement endorsed by panel Director Masudur Rahman said that the cost of 22-carat gold presently remains at Tk 9,898 for every gram while it is Tk 9,448 for 21-carat gold.
The cost of 18-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 8,098 for every gram while that of conventional gold at Tk 6,695 for each gram. The new rates will produce results beginning Wednesday.
Moreover, the cost of 22-carat silver is Tk 180 for each gram, while 21-carat silver is Tk 172 for every gram, and 18-carat silver is estimated at Tk 147 for every gram, with customary silver valued at Tk 110 for each gram.
