31 individuals have kicked the bucket after a transport flipped over and plunged off an extension in Mali on Tuesday. The transport had been in transit to adjoining Burkina Faso from the Malian town of Kenieba when it strayed away from a scaffold crossing the Bagoe waterway.

No less than ten others were harmed - a few experiencing serious wounds. Neighborhood authorities said the possible reason was "the driver's inability to control the vehicle". The mishap occurred at around 17:00 neighborhood time (17:00 GMT).

"A transport... that was leaving Kenieba community for Burkina Faso warned an extension. The logical reason is the driver failing to keep a grip on the vehicle," the vehicle service said in an explanation. It added that the casualties remembered Malians and residents from different locales for West Africa.

Street mishaps are normal in Mali due to the unfortunate state of numerous streets and vehicles, as well as over-burden and ineffectively managed public transportation. Recently, 15 individuals were killed and 46 were harmed after a transport heading towards the capital Bamako crashed into a truck, as indicated by AFP news office.
